Katrina Parks – Director, Writer & Executive Producer
Katrina has produced programs for networks including A&E, Discovery Channel, History, Lifetime, PBS, Planet Green, Spike, TLC and Travel Channel. As a director, Katrina has received grants from museums and foundations, and her short films have been featured in many showcases. Her video performance work “Wrappings” won a SASA Award from the United Nations. “The Harvey Girls: Opportunity Bound” is Katrina’s full-length directorial debut. She has a BFA from the University of New Mexico in painting and drawing, and an MFA from San Francisco State University in Film Production.
Michael Parks – Executive Producer
Michael’s career path has taken him from working in England’s House Of Commons to successful careers in architecture, music, film and television. Michael’s producing, directing and production credits include films and television for Disney, Fox, DreamWorks, Touchstone, Sony, Walden Media, Mark Burnett Productions, ABC, NBC, CBS, Discovery, Nat Geo, Lucas Films and PBS among others. Along the way Michael has climbed the treacherous slopes of Mt. Everest, filmed inside the Russian Kremlin, negotiated with the President and Governor of Panama and worked on Oscar-winning films.
Thaddeus Homan – Producer & Editor
Thaddeus has had an extensive career in communication arts, including working for top brand marketing firms and ad agencies. After graduating from the University of Arizona, he moved to San Francisco where he parlayed his degree in marketing and eye for design into a diverse career working for industries ranging from toy manufacturing to international engineering and construction. Producing animation for the web brought a whole new dimension of creativity to his work, which led to a career in film production and editing. Thaddeus was the co-producer, editor and DP on the feature film Better Than Crazy and has directed music videos for musicians Chuck Prophet and Stephanie Finch.
