The Harvey Girls: Opportunity Bound offers an inside look at how over 100,000 railroad station waitresses opened up the doors of the American West to women and changed history. The documentary features interviews with some of the last remaining Harvey Girls and award-winning author Stephen Fried. It was nominated for a James Beard Award, premiered at the National Archives and has been broadcast on a dozen PBS Stations.
